SEA SNAILS(golden,mystery,apple....)

 

They eat leftovers of fish food and this may sound gross but also fish waste and sometimes they do eat their waste. they also eat algae and help keep the tank very clean. but you might want to watch those snails closely because you could have babies very soon! snails are a type of animal which have both male and female reproductive organs so just two could have many offspring then their babies would have babies and so on. i have had experiences with this and had to get rid of them for this very reason but other then that just feed the fish and the snails will eat the leftovers happily.i feed my goldfish oranges and peas and cucumber sometimes.snails eat most of the leafy veggies.I feed my snails cabbage and my tetras peas.to feed snails cabbage you must take a small part of it and boil it in water for about 5 to 10 min.Then place it at the bottom of the tank by placing a hard substance over it so that it does not float.For peas, boilt it and then remove its outer covering and squash it with your fisngers and spread it in your tank.This is how i feed them.It works and they eat it.

Sea snails could eat

algae
other snails
dead fish
rotten food at the bottom of the tank.(only veggies or fish)

depends on the species...........

snails cannot survive in salt water

so make sure that you dont put salt in the tank where there are snails.

give them calcium tablets that you get at your pet store. it helps to make their shell strong and induces colour such as cuddle bone.

try giving them leafy veggieslike lettuce,spinach,some peas,cucumber.......
